Dan Schlossberg – Biographical Brief

Former Associated Press newsman Dan Schlossberg, and boasts a 48-year journalism career that spans the gamut from broadcast analyst and commentator, to writer, author, and entrepreneur.  He has won awards for writing, editing, graphic design, and public service from the Working Press Association of New Jersey.

As a writer Dan has authored 38 books, and more than 25,000 articles about
baseball, including best-seller, Have We Seen the Last of Baseball’s 300-Game
Winners? Dan’s latest book, The New Baseball Bible: Notes, Nuggets, Lists and Legends From Our National Pastime was release in early 2017.

As a baseball author Dan has had the honor of personally interviewing many Baseball Hall of Famers including Hank Aaron, Stan Musial, Warren Spahn, Luke Appling, Phil Rizzuto, Eddie Mathews, and Bob Feller.

In addition, Dan has contributed to USA Today Sports Weekly, Latino Sports, Baseball
Magazine, Top Sports Report, Baseball Digest
, The Sporting News, MLB.com,
BaseballGuru.com, All-Star Game and World Series programs, annuals, publications, and baseball card projects.

As a public speaker Dan entertains audiences on a wide variety of subjects, from favorite stories – all with a touch of humor and irreverence that make him an unforgettable guest.

As a broadcaster he has created and produced many projects including “The Baseball Minute” and “Diamond Dust” audio & visual spots – both made available as commercial vehicles for current or potential MLB outlets and/or
sponsors.
As originator of the concept, Dan has created, coordinated and hosted more than 20 such cruises, featuring former major-league stars that included Ralph Branca, Roger Craig, Carl Erskine, Darrell Evans, Bob Feller, Monte Irvin, Larry Jansen,
